Course is for entrepreneurs and business owners who are looking to find traction in their business.
GRIT for Entrepreneurs - GFE course is designed to help you understand the role of grit in entrepreneurship. Grit is the ability to persevere with passion (enthusiasm) through challenges and to achieve long-term goals despite obstacles.
Entrepreneurial life is characterized by ambiguity, uncertainty, constant change, and hustling. Additionally, businesses globally face numerous challenges, such as poverty, limited resources, and political instability. Developing grit can help you overcome these challenges to achieve your goals.
When entrepreneurs are growing and thriving, families, communities and countries benefit from the economic outcomes they create. Prior to our communities of practice, content related to grit will be provided to you through this course. All participants are expected to complete the prerequisite reading and assignments in this course, prior to participation in the communities of practice.
During the communities of practice, you will engage in group discussions and activities to build a community that will provide accountability, support, and ideas on how to stay resilient and growing. While the work in this course will help you understand the concept of grit, the communities of practice are intended to help you experience how to practice and nurture grit.
After this online course, you will be contacted to receive more information on how to join these communities of practice. You will be required to provide feedback for the course as this helps us improve the content for the next iteration of the course.
